Dual Event-Triggered Controller Co-Design for Networked Control Systems with Network-Induced Delays

چکیده
To address the presence of network-induced delays in networked control systems (NCSs), a dual event-triggered mechanism (DETM) is used to investigate problem reducing network and controller co-design. Firstly, DETM sensor–controller (SC) controller–actuator (CA) adopted. By determining whether sampled data meet threshold conditions for transmission, we effectively reduce transmitted over network, which can delay by occupation resources. Secondly, NCS model with developed, Lyapunov function including chosen. The functional upper limit estimated combining Wirtinger’s-based integral inequality reciprocally convex approach. This results stability criterion low conservativeness co-design method DETM. Finally, availability this was verified through numerical example case study.

Event-Triggered Networked Control Systems
Many of the results for event-triggered control of embedded systems can be extended to networked control systems. A networked control system or NCS is a set of controllers that coordinate their actions over a communication network. For NCS, event-triggering is used to decide when to transmit or broadcast the system state to a local controller’s neighbors. Using events to trigger communication a...
متن کاملOn controller & capacity allocation co-design for networked control systems
This paper presents a framework for examining joint optimal channel-capacity allocation and controller design for networked control systems using store-and-forward networks in a discrete-time linear time-invariant setting. The resultant framework provides a synthesis procedure for designing distributed linear control laws for capacity-constrained networks taking the allocation of the capacity w...
متن کاملSuboptimal event-triggered control for networked control systems
The advent of networked control systems urges the digital control design to incorporate communication constraints efficiently. In order to accommodate this requirement, this article studies the joint design of controller and event-trigger for linear stochastic systems in the presence of a resource-limited communication channel which exhibits packet dropouts and time-delay. The event-trigger sit...
متن کاملOptimal Controller Design for Networked Control Systems
This paper addresses the problem of optimal control system design for networked control systems. We focus on a situation where the plant is single-input single-output and the communication link between the controller and the plant is signal-to-noise ratio constrained. In this setting, we characterize the controllers that minimize the tracking error variance, while respecting the channel signal-...
متن کاملProbabilistic Modeling of Network-induced Delays in Networked Control Systems
Time varying network induced delays in networked control systems (NCS) are known for degrading control system’s quality of performance (QoP) and causing stability problems. In literature, a control method employing modeling of communication delays as probability distribution, proves to be a better method. This paper focuses on modeling of network induced delays as probability distribution. CAN ...
